HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – During this evening’s special study session, the Holland Planning Commission will discuss a proposed ordinance amendment dealing with accessory dwelling units on residential property. These “mother-in-law apartments” would be allowed in an effort to preserve home ownership and to introduce a new type of housing to the Tulip City. The study session begins at 5 PM in the second floor training center of Holland City Hall. A final decision on this matter by both the planners and by City Council may come next month.
