HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – During this afternoon’s Ottawa County Community Mental Health Board of Directors’ monthly meeting, members are expected to ask the County Board to put a three-tenths-of-a-mill request on the 2016 ballot for operational funding. There was a two million-dollar shortfall in the fiscal 2015 budget that led to a number of staff layoffs and funding cuts to support agencies. That shortfall was cited by Kandu Industries officials when they ended operations last month. The Mental Health Board will also consider a three-year contract extension for Executive Director Lynne Doyle through 2018.
