HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The redevelopment of the Washington School building has brought Holland’s Planning Commission and Historic District Commission together for a joint study session late this afternoon in Council Chambers at City Hall. Kris DePree and Doug Gulker will present their conceptual ideas about turning the two-story structure into a 34-unit living area with one, two and three-bedroom flats, three-bedroom townhouses, along with 12 new two-story row houses and parking on the 3.2-acre site. The Planners will also discuss the city’s master plan as it pertains to current conditions in Holland.
