Justine “Tina” Males, age 72, of Holland, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at her home after a 10-year battle with oral cancer.
Tina was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born on August 6, 1949 to Ferdinand and Dorothy Gorsche. She graduated from Manistique High School in 1967 where she met her high school sweetheart, Bill, whom she would later marry on September 20, 1969. Tina was an adventurous lady. She enjoyed world traveling, notably to the Philippines, Panama, and Italy. She loved social ballroom dancing, and joyfully prepared meals for her family.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand & Dorothy (Ducheney) Gorsche; and her stepfather, Captain TK Whitelaw.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William “Bill”; children: Julie Males, Lisa (Ryan) Bosman, William (Megan) Males; grandchild, Liam Bosman; siblings: William (Betty) Gorsche, Judy (Ron) Provo, Greg (Bonita) Gorsche; siblings-in-law: Mia (Kate) Broullire, Robert Males, Jim Ostlund, Kathy (Don) Schuetter; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by, and will be dearly missed, by her ballroom dancing family.
A memorial service to honor Tina’s life is being planned for the Spring of 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Good Samaritan Ministries in Holland. www.langelandsterenberg.com.
