EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State University junior wide receiver Jayden Reed has been named the Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week.
Reed returned a punt 62 yards for a touchdown to tie the game against Nebraska at 20 late in the fourth quarter. The Spartans eventually beat the Cornhuskers 23-20 in overtime to improve to 4-and-0 on the season.
This marks the first Special Teams Player of the Week award for Reed.
