LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Former President Barack Obama is urging Michiganders to elect Democrat Jocelyn Benson as governor in November.
In a video released yesterday, he says the state needs her in charge.
Obama says Benson has plans to “lower healthcare costs, build more homes and ensure every child has access to a quality education.”
She is facing Republican Congressman John James in the race to succeed Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
