Geoffrey H. Davis of Holland, Michigan passed away on October 8th, 2026.
Geoffrey was born to Sara Houghton Davis and Raymond Theodore Davis in Kenton, Ohio. He was a graduate of Millburn High School in Millburn, New Jersey, Wittenberg University and The University of Toledo, where he earned his law degree.
Geoffrey’s legal career began in private practice, which was then followed by a long career with the City of Toledo’s Law Department. He served as the Chief of Litigation from 1995 until his retirement in January of 2005.
In 2010 Geoffrey and his wife, Nancy, relocated to Holland, Michigan, where Geoff pursued his many interests and hobbies.
Geoffrey is survived by his wife, Nancy, their three sons – Theodore, Nicholas (Darla), Charles (Angelina), eight wonderful grandchildren – Geoffrey (Leann), Jessica, Rebecca, Jackson, Katherine, Charles, Griffin and Ryan and his two great grandchildren – Charlotte and Micah.
Geoffrey leaves behind a sister, Jane and a brother Charles (Claire), as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, American Heart Association, Trout Unlimited or Cherry Street Mission in Toledo, Ohio.
Cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time.
