LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Among the over 20,000 people that have been deleted from the state’s sex offender registry after a ruling by the Michigan Supreme Court is convicted child molester Larry Nassar.
He pled guilty to molesting children and young adult female athletes and was sentenced to between 40 and 175-years in prison in January 2018.
His crimes happened before 2011, which is the cutoff year for sex offenders to appear on the registry.
Also removed from the registry was former doctor Kassem Hallak, who was convicted of sexually assaulting multiple patients in 2013 and has been released on parole.
