HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 14, 2026) – It’s a day for showing off at West Michigan Regional Airport.
The annual Aviation Day open house is slated for Saturday, from 8 AM to 12 Noon, at the facility on Holland’s south side (60 Geurink Blvd.). There will be free flights for kids from EAA Young Eagles, rides on a vintage C-47 World War II transport plane, a Runway 5K and pancake breakfast fundraisers for Wings of Mercy, flight simulations with Flight Path, a classic car show from the Vintage Car Club of Holland, and more.
It’s a free community celebration of National Aviation Day, according to Airport Manager Matt Neyens.
