HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 7, 2026) – It’s a summer attraction this weekend in downtown Holland.
The annual Downtown Holland Sidewalk Sale run on Friday and Saturday, as over 50 retailers will be participating in offering bargains on a variety of items and services. Kara de Alvare, the Marketing Coordinator for Downtown Holland, says that this event brings several thousand people into the Tulip City every year.
Barricades blocking off 8th Street from College and River avenues, put into place for Thursday’s weekly summer Street Performer Series, will remain in place through Saturday evening. The Downtown Holland Social District will also be open during the Sidewalk Sale, from 9 AM to 8 PM on Friday, and 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday.
