PARK TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jul. 27, 2026) – An annual tradition dating back to 1959 returns on Monday.
The six-day Ottawa County Fair begins at 3 PM with 4H goat and sheep shows, with the opening night featured attraction being the Unique Motor Sports’ Night of Destruction Demolition Derby in the Grandstand. Other special evening events include a Tuesday Bump and Run, a Wednesday Monster Truck Throwdown, a Thursday SJO Motorcross, a Friday Super Kicker Rodeo, and a Saturday Dirt Drags. Once again, Elliott’s Amusements is handling the carnival, and there are other attractions for the entire family through Saturday.
It’s the second of four annual fairs along the Lakeshore, following the Berlin Fair earlier this month in Marne. Coming up are the Hudsonville Community Fair on August 24-29, and the Allegan County Fair on September 11-19.
