We are saddened to announce the passing of Eric Wayne Martin at the age of 55. He was a resident of Holland, Michigan. Born May 4, 1971, Eric will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection by those who knew and loved him.
Eric is survived by his two children, Ayden Martin and Taylor Hanrahan; his mother, Joyce Lake; his father, Louis Martin; and his brother, Lee Martin, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Eric attended West Ottawa High School, where he served as captain of the track team, a role that reflected his discipline and steady leadership. He also trained in karate, earning many trophies in recognition of his skill and dedication. Beyond these pursuits, Eric found joy on the water and enjoyed sailing; at one time, he owned a Hinkley sailboat.
Immediate family members will honor his life and memory at a private gathering.
