HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jun. 17, 2026) – It’s nearly “job done” for a housing project in Holland.
During Wednesday night’s biweekly business meeting, the Holland City Council is expected to approve the cancellation of a letter-of-credit for Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, because of the expected completion of the Vista Green development off of West 36th Street later this summer. It has taken five years for Dave Rozman of Habitat, in a partnership with Jubilee Ministries, to build 42 total housing units at the site.
The governing panel is also expected to finalize amendments to the Fiscal 2026 budget, which runs through the end of this month. These adjustments are necessary to avoid violating state requirements of maintaining a balanced spending plan.
The Holland City Council’s 6 PM business meeting is in Chambers at Holland City Hall (270 S. River Ave.). An online link to the agenda and supporting documents is here.
