HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 20, 2026) – High School commencement season along the Lakeshore is underway.
On Tuesday evening, Holland Christian High and Holland High formally said goodbye to the Class of 2026. While the Maroons held their ceremony at Central Wesleyan Church, Pomp and Ceremony played at DeVos Fieldhouse for the Dutch, as Holland School Superintendent Nick Cassidy handed out diplomas to a special group for him.
Hope College’s basketball and volleyball home will also be the stage for Zeeland’s two graduations, on Wednesday night for the East Chix, and on Thursday evening for the West Dux. Holding commencement exercises on Thursday night as well will be Hamilton, Saugatuck and Fennville highs, all at their football facilities. Next Thursday, seniors will be getting diplomas at the Jack Miller Center for Black River Public Schools, and at Calvary Schools of Holland for 12th grade Crusaders.
