OLIVE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 19, 2026) – Policy setting highlights Tuesday evening’s monthly Ottawa County Board of Commissioners business meeting.
Among the agenda items to be decided upon by the governing panel: Adjusting positions, pay grades, and the wage scale of county staffers in order to maintain a competitive position in the marketplace; have all contracts on the ratification report pursuant to the county’s contracting policy; revise the county’s investment policy; establish an artificial intelligence policy; and redefine a remote work policy. On procedural first readings are revised debt management, legal services, and tuition reimbursement policies for consideration.
