HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 1, 2026) – While the star of the show came somewhat early this year, and the Dutch Dancers held a last dress rehearsal at Centennial Park on Thursday night, Holland’s annual signature event formally gets underway on Friday.
The 97th Tulip Time Festival begins with sold out Holland Highlights and Tulip Time VIP Tours, as well as the Tulip Immersion Garden, all starting at Beechwood Church. Other spotlighted events include Dutch Life on Display at the Van Raalte Farmhouse, a Historic Walking Tour beginning at Window on the Waterfront, the Art in Bloem Fine Art Exhibit at the Holland Area Arts Council building, the Quilt Show at the Midtown Center, a Dutch Lunch and Dance Performance at Evergreen Commons, Dutch Dancing during the afternoon at Centennial Park before an evening performance on 8th Street downtown, and the Carnival outside, along with a Love Story Taylor Swift tribute concert by Rikki Lee Wilson inside, of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place.
Festival Executive Director Gwen Auwerda feels everything is in place for the 10-day celebration of the tulip, Holland’s Dutch heritage, and more.
The Tulip Time Festival runs through May 10th. An online link to the schedule of events and more is here.
