OLIVE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 27, 2026) – There may be little fireworks coming out of the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners monthly meeting on Tuesday night.
Sheriff Eric DeBoer will present some awards, and Paul Sachs will deliver his Department of Strategic Impact’s annual report, but other than that, board Chairman Josh Brugger of Grand Haven admits that the agenda will consist of rather routine matters.
The governing panel is expected to approve a contract with Brian Dissette to be the new Deputy County Administrator at an annual base salary of over $169,000. His first day is slated to be next Monday, February 2nd.
The Ottawa County Board’s 6:30 PM meeting is in the Administration Building at the Fillmore Street Complex in West Olive (12220 Fillmore St.). An online link to the agenda and supporting documents is here.
