HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 7, 2026) – An 82-year-old West Olive man is recovering from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash east of Holland late on Wednesday morning.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies and other first responders were dispatched around 11:10 AM to the area of US-31 near East 16th Street. That was where a southbound pickup truck veered to the right off of the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was taken to Holland Hospital in stable condition, while his 80-year-old wife escaped injury.
No details as to what led to the motorist losing control of his vehicle were immediately disclosed as the incident remains under investigation.
