Thanks in part to 14 points from Connor May, visiting Washington University topped Hope’s men last night, 72-65. There’s a basketball doubleheader at DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland this afternoon, with the Flying Dutchmen hosting Muskegum, and the Flying Dutch entertaining Calvin.
Grand Valley State swept a basketball doubleheader from Michigan Tech in Houghton yesterday. MacKenzie Bisballe scored 22 points as the women won the opener, 73-53. Jalen Charity also tallied 22 as the Lakers won the men’s nightcap, 79-75. GVSU’s teams meet the Northern Michigan Wildcats in Marquette this afternoon.
