GRAND HAVEN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 6, 2025) – A 40-year-old man was hurt following a single-vehicle crash southeast of Grand Haven on Wednesday morning.
No name or hometown was disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Jake MacKeller following the incident that occurred around 9:20 AM on Mercury Drive at Comstock Street. The motorist, driving a Jeep Cherokee, apparently failed to negotiate a curve or stop for a stop sign at that intersection. The vehicle slammed into a tree and rolled over, throwing out the driver in the process. The man was flown to Corewell-Butterworth Hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
