JAMESTOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 23, 2025) – A teenager suffered serious injuries after being struck by a SUV southeast of Hudsonville on Wednesday afternoon.
No names were disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Michael Tammenga after first responders were dispatched to the intersection of 24th Avenue and Riley Street just before 3 PM. A 13-year-old girl had gone into the crosswalk when she was hit by the motor vehicle, which was heading north and had stopped for a stop sign before proceeding.
The teen was taken to a “local hospital” by LIFE EMS, while the motorist, a 35-year-old Wyoming woman, was not hurt. The incident remains under investigation.
