Pure Michigan Unveils Online Fall Color Tracker Feature

LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 19, 2025) – The state isn’t waiting for the calendar as the autumnal equinox comes on Monday afternoon.

In conjunction with Governor Whitmer’s formal declaration of Saturday as “Pure Michigan Fall Color Day” comes a new tool to track the splendid change of the seasons from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Pure Michigan tourism division.

The MEDC began its three-month-long, $3.4 million “Keep it Fresh” fall advertising campaign on August 1st.
