ROBINSON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 13, 2025) – Five persons were injured following a two-vehicle crash between Allendale and Grand Haven on Tuesday evening.
No names or hometowns were disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Chad Coulson as he and other first responders were dispatched to the junction of M-231 and Lincoln Street around 5 PM. That was where a southbound SUV, driven by a woman in her 30’s, with a six-year-old boy as a passenger, apparently lost control and collided with a northbound SUV. Those two suffered serious ailments, while the three persons in the other vehicle – a male driver in his 70’s, along with two female passengers in their 70’s and 50’s, respectively – had minor hurts.
The area was blocked off for about 90 minutes to accommodate the needs of those persons involved, as well as clearing out the damage, as the incident remains under investigation.
