HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 11, 2025) – The symbol of Holland is celebrating it’s 60th anniversary.
When Windmill Island Gardens opens for the season on Monday, it will begin the 61st year in which visitors can come see the vintage DeZwaan windmill in operation. It survived the ravages of World War II, but was in need of much tender loving care when it came to the Tulip City in 1964, according to Manager Matt Helmus.
