Holland Museum Striving to Reach $100,000 Fundraising Goal by Month’s End

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 9, 2025) – There may be financial light ahead for the Holland Museum, but the non-profit Holland Historic Trust is not out of the woods yet.

Last month, Executive Director Michelle Stempien acknowledged that, unless $100,000 is raised by May 1st, layoffs and program cuts will be made due to rising costs and other financial strains.

Since sounding this financial alarm, community members have stepped up to the plate.

Stempien wouldn’t say how close the Museum is to this $100,000 goal, but is confident that it can be reached over the next three weeks.
