CROCKERY TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 28, 2025) – A vehicle ended up in a creek overnight near Nunica, but there wasn’t a driver or any passengers in sight.
That’s according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Cassie Tolman, who was among several first responders dispatched to the area of Leonard Street and 112th Avenue around 1:45 AM on Friday. When they arrived, they saw a SUV that apparently failed to negotiate a curve in the road, went through a guardrail, and landed in the creek. Dive team members helped get the vehicle out of the water, but a search of the area found nobody who may have been involved.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Ottawa County Silent Observer (877-887-4536).
