HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 14, 2025) – As another round of wintry weather bears down this weekend along the Lakeshore and much of Michigan, what has been the effect of the 200-foot clearance state law for snow plows on roadways that was enacted this past summer?

As for enforcing the law…Allegan County Sheriff Frank Baker.
The National Weather Service Office in Grand Rapids has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 11 PM on Friday evening to 7 PM on Saturday night, with perhaps an extension into Sunday.
