HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 30, 2025) – A 48-year-old Holland woman escaped injury after crashing her sedan into a building on Thursday night.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Cassie Tolman, the unnamed motorist was apparently attempting to park her vehicle outside of a party store off of Lakewood Boulevard and River Avenue around 6:20 PM when the automobile smashed into the building. While the motorists and those inside of the building escaped injury, the force of the collision caused structural damage to the point that the retailer had to close for the evening, and it was not immediately known when it would reopen.
Tolman didn’t say more about the circumstances that led to the incident, which remains under investigation.
