HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 3, 2024) – Nearly seven months to the day that they blossom onto the spotlight, the star of Holland’s annual signature event gets planted this weekend.
On Friday and Saturday, volunteers will assist city of Holland’s Park Department staffers in planting tulip bulbs at the Tulip Plantings site on Window on the Waterfront Park off of East 6th Street. Those helping hands will be needed in four shifts, two on each day.
Holland City Manager Keith Van Beek.
Volunteers can register through the Tulip Time website, and are asked to dress for the weather and bring gardening gloves, with the city supplying the bulbs, tools and instruction.
