OLIVE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 18, 2024) – The Ottawa Area Intermediate School District has a couple of new facilities now open as a new school year is underway.
On Tuesday, a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Holland’s North Side, as the OAISD unveiled a setting in which students aged 18 through 26 can learn skills through the Young Adult Services program. On Wednesday, a similar event is set for the district’s Olive Township campus, as the Careerline Tech Center’s east building will now accommodate health and human services-related programs.
OAISD Superintendent Kyle Mayer is understandably delighted.
Around 100 students will be served through the Felch Street Building, which is about half of those in the district’s overall Young Adult Services program.
