GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, July 30, 2024) – A 68-year-old Jenison man is in custody after two separate indecent exposure incidents at a strip mall retailer.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Detective Captain Jake Sparks, the accused man entered a business in the area of Baldwin Street and 36th Avenue on the afternoon of June 24th and exposed himself to a teenaged girl, but fled before deputies arrived at the scene. Nearly a month later, late this past Sunday afternoon, the same man returned to the same retailer and did the same thing to another young girl, and again fled before authorities arrived.
Deputies were able to identify the accused and tracked him to his home on Monday, where he was apprehended without incident. On Tuesday, Robert Linscott was arraigned in Hudsonville District Court on two counts of indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person, and he remains held in the Ottawa County Jail on $100,000 bond.
Sparks said that there may have been more incidents, and has asked if anyone who may have information, or perhaps been victimized by the accused, to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Ottawa County Silent Observer (877-887-4536).
