Chile sees interest from Rio Tinto, LG, BYD and others for Altoandinos lithium site

SANTIAGO (Reuters) – Rio Tinto, BYD, LG Energy, Eramet and Posco are among the 12 companies that submitted proposals to develop a lithium project in Chile’s Altoandinos salt flats, the state-run mining company ENAMI said on Thursday.
