HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, July 10, 2024) – Updates will be the order of the evening for the Holland City Council on Wednesday.
During its biweekly study session, the governing panel is slated to hear presentations from the Holland Aquatic Center and the Macatawa Area Express. The Aquatic Center is under new operational leadership, with Amanda Duimstra taking over as Executive Director at the beginning of the month from Jack Huisingh, who retired after 11 years. Meanwhile, the MAX board recently went over the results of a transit study in which passengers and other stakeholders were asked their opinions about possible changes to the mass transit service.
The 6 PM City Council study session is slated for the second-floor Training Room of Holland City Hall (270 S. River Ave.). No actions or votes are expected, and the public is invited to attend, with a comment period available before the two agency presentations.
