HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, July 8, 2024) – June may have been a pride month for some segments of society, but July is disability pride month.
Along those lines, the US Social Security Administration posted on its social media outlets a reminder about what services they provide to help improve the lives of those who have disabilities.
Hillary Hatch with the Social Security regional office in Grand Rapids says that a couple of changes implemented last month should help in getting those benefits to those who need it and who qualify.
The other change has to do with whether or not an applicant is able to be gainfully employed in another line of work.
