ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 14, 2024) – The lack of helping hands is forcing a civic entity to close its doors for Saturday.
Visitors won’t be able to access the Dekker Huis Museum in Zeeland that day due to what Zeeland Historical Society Executive Director Katelyn VerMerris says are staffing shortages.
Those shortages will also lead to opening the museum later next Friday (from 10 AM to 1:30 PM) and on Saturday, June 29th (from 10 AM to 12:30 PM). It is not expected to impact the Museum’s “Farm the Zeel” tractor show and farm festival at First Reformed Church next Saturday, June 22.
