HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 11, 2024) – As Ricki Levine heads into the final fortnight of her seven-year tenure as the Executive Director for the Holland Museum, she will be honored by the Museum’s Board with an invitational retirement party on Wednesday evening at Macatawa Legends.
Some of the accomplishments during her time include re-accreditation by the Alliance of American Museums, unveiling the SparkLab exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution, expanding programming and exhibits, and developing a five-year strategic plan aimed at guiding the future of the institution comprehensively. However, Levine is aware that she had been the managing director of Muskegon’s Frauenthal Center before heading south to the Tulip City.
The Holland Museum is promoting Levine’s successor from within, as Education and Outreach Manager Michelle Stempien takes over as Executive Director on July 1st.
