LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 7, 2024) – Two men from Ottawa County will be among 54 new Michigan State Police troopers getting their badges on Friday.
During a 1 PM graduation ceremony at the Lansing Center, Jake Adams of Allendale and Erik Pilarski of Holland will be sworn in by State Police Director Colonel James Grady the second. They are part of the 145th Trooper Recruit School that spent nearly 1,200 hours of hands-on, lecture and scenario-based instruction in a dozen categories at the MSP’s residential training academy.
Adams will be assigned to the Paw Paw post, while Pilarski begins his service from the Wayland post.
