DEARBORN, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 4, 2024) – One holiday down, two more to go as summer vacation season is underway, with gas prices receding for the moment.
As of this Tuesday morning, the average price for fuel in the state is down 13 cents a gallon from a week ago at $3.52 Triple-A Michigan says the mean is down nine cents in the past month, and is a penny lower than last year, with a 15-gallon fill up costing $53 on average statewide.

Michigan’s highest price is in Jackson at $3.63, while Benton Harbor’s $3.42 is the lowest price. Along the Lakeshore, Ottawa County’s average stands at $3.54, three pennies below that of neighboring Allegan County.
