HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, June 1, 2024) – A neighborhood in Holland has earned a national designation.
Last Friday, May 24th, Neighborhoods USA, who annually grants “Neighborhood of the Year” awards, bestowed the Tulip City’s Eastcore area with this competitive honor.
Executive Director Jake Norris made the final pitch for 3Sixty’s annual Tulip City Walls Mural Festival during the NUSA annual conference in Lubbock, Texas, and that effort garnered the Neighborhood of the Year award for physical revitalization and beautification, beating out three other finalists.
The area that Norris’ group is focused on is just south of the downtown district.
3Sixty is more than just a group staging a festival.
