ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 24, 2024) – It may be a holiday weekend, but for those looking for things to do nearby on Saturday, a trip into downtown Zeeland might be attractive.
The 10th annual Spring Peddler’s Market runs on Church Street, between Main Street and Central Avenue. From 9 AM to 3 PM, there will be over 100 different vendors on hand to offer a large variety of items to buy and special order, but as City Events Coordinator Kerri VanDorp says, it’s more than just a six-hour flea market.
For the third year, youngsters with big ideas can sell their items in a specially-marked Little Peddler’s event. Why hold this on a holiday weekend, when many people’s thoughts are elsewhere, perhaps far away from the Lakeshore?
Even though snowmelt work downtown will be evident, VanDorp feels that the Spring Peddler’s Market is a good advertisement for what Zeeland has to offer.
