HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 22, 2024) – A 32-year-old West Olive woman and a 29-year-old Holland man were hospitalized after their vehicles collided with one another on Holland’s North Side on Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies and other first responders were dispatched to 120th Avenue at Greenly Street around 3:30 PM. The woman was driving westbound and her SUV was hit by a northbound sedan, causing what Sheriff’s Sergeant Greg Rotman described as “significant” damage, and blocking the intersection for about an hour.
The woman was taken to Holland Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries, while the man went to Corewell-Zeeland Hospital with ailments described as non-life threatening. No names were disclosed, and no other details as to what led to the crash were immediately revealed, as the incident remains under investigation.
