CROCKERY TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 17, 2024) – A 44-year-old Robinson Township woman faces a preliminary hearing on charges of defrauding a Nunica business of over $120,000.
Mandy Barlow was arrested last Wednesday at her home, culminating a two-month-long probe into losses incurred by Doltek Enterprises, an interior design company, after that reports of customers not receiving payment for services rendered. An internal audit uncovered discrepancies involving money being diverted from business accounts to a personal account several times between last August and this past January.
Barlow was arraigned last Thursday in Grand Haven District Court on felony embezzlement of over $100,000 and use of a computer to commit a crime counts. It is punishable upon conviction of up to 20 years in prison, along with a fine of three times the value of money embezzled.
