India’s wholesale prices rise in March by 0.53% from a year earlier

NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India’s wholesale price index rose 0.53% in March from a year earlier, government data showed.

Economists polled by Reuters had estimated the index would rise 0.51%. It rose 0.20% in February.
