GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 5, 2024) – As spring break week winds down, the road construction season revs up.
April is Work Zone Safety Month, as motorists are asked to be aware of crews and conditions, according to Alex Doty of the Ottawa County Road Commission.
While there will be plenty of projects on the agenda between now and Thanksgiving, the major efforts are the construction of a roundabout at the junction of M-89 and M-40 in Allegan, which is already underway, and the rebuilding of Business 196 east out of Holland, from US-31 to I-196, which begins next Saturday.
