Ken Gusler, age 82, of Holland, Michigan, passed away suddenly on March 30, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born on November 15, 1941 to Vernard and Betty Gusler in Van Wert, Ohio. Ken served in the Army for 4 years.
Ken dedicated 37 years of his life to Herman Miller before enjoying retirement for the past 18 years.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Gusler (Lugers) of 57 years, his daughters Kim (Jeremy) Zoet and Kristi (Mark) Thomas, as well as his 6 grandchildren (Riley and Mason Harkema, Olivia Zoet, Logan, Sawyer and Graysen Thomas) and 1 great-grandchild (Reign Thomas). He is also survived by his siblings Connie (Bob) Staal, Pegg Gusler, in-laws Beverly Costigan, Allen Lugers, and Mary (Wally) Martinez, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ken was preceded in death by his parents Vernard (Bob) and Betty Gusler, his sister Sandy Gusler, and his grandson Noah Thomas.
Ken had a passion for reading, hunting, working around the house, and sports, especially NASCAR. He enjoyed sharing his love for sports with his grandkids.
A visitation will be held at Central Park Church (614 Myrtle Ave. Holland, MI) on Wednesday, April 3, from 10:00 to 11:45, followed by a service at Noon. The family invites you to join them for a light lunch after the service to talk and remember Ken.
