OTSEGO TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 1, 2024) – No names or other identification were disclosed by Allegan County Sheriff’s Deputies after a bicyclist was struck by a motorist near Otsego on Monday afternoon.
According to Sergeant Blair Kacos, the incident around 3:45 p.m. occurred near the junction of 104th Avenue and 18th Street. The cyclist was transported to an unnamed “local hospital” in critical condition, while the motorist was unhurt.
While the area was blocked off for an investigation, deputies believed that alcohol and speed were not initially believed to be factors in the incident, but disclosed no other circumstances.
