Dale G. Wolters, 91, of Kentwood, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
Dale was born January 25, 1933, in Overisel, Michigan, to Harold “Richard” Wolters and Adelaide (Oetman) Wolters. He graduated from Holland Chistian High School, Calvin College, and the University of Michigan with a degree in electrical engineering. Dale served in the U.S. Army and worked for Lear Siegler until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed spending time at Sandy Pines resort boating, swimming, fishing, and golfing. Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Maxine Wolters, in 2009.
He is survived by his children: Richard (Eileen) Wolters, Daniel (Leticia) Wolters, Anthony Wolters and Dawn Helsing Wolters, Amy (Jim) Anderson; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, siblings: Ruth (Ken) Dannenberg, Lois (Gerb) Oosterbaan, John (Sharon) Wolters.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland MI 49464. Visiting hours will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, March 15, at Yntema Funeral Home. Private interment will be in Overisel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to World Renew.
