BRADLEY, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 25, 2024) – Although the latest addition to the Gun Lake Casino complex is still about a year away, the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians has named an operational leader for that addition.
On Friday, the tribe announced that Ronaldo Pascual is its director of Hotel Operatons, bringing with him two decades of handling Forbes 4-Star/AAA 4-Diamond-rated hotel casino resort operations in several states. He has also been part of community activities during his stints in California, Alabama, Louisiana and Pennsylvania, including serving as a board member for various chambers of commerce and visitors’ bureaus.
Pascual will oversee the eventual opening of the Gun Lake Casino’s 252-room, 15-story hotel, with a spa and meeting space, as well as a 32,000-square foot entertainment dome that has three separate indoor swimming pools. That facility is slated to be operational sometime in 2025 at the tribe’s reservation site off of US-131 and 129th Avenue, south of Wayland.
