SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 12, 2024) – A Lakeshore art institution is going back to its Chicagoland roots to raise money.
On Thursday, February 22nd, the Ox-Bow School of Art and Artists Residency will hold its annual “Winter Break” fundraiser at the Chicago Artists Coalition. It will feature the work of Kenya native Brendan Fernandes, who spent this past summer as a visiting artist at the 115-acre campus tucked away on the peninsula north of Douglas.
Although Ox-Bow has been in existence since 1910, many are not really aware of it, according to the school’s Deputy Director of Campus Life and Operations Claire Arctander.
