UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 25, 2024) – Hope College swept a basketball doubleheader from visiting Albion in Holland last night. Olivia Bellows came off of the bench to score 18 points as the Flying Dutch prevailed in the women’s opener, 62-55. Gabe Quillan tossed in 13 points as the Flying Dutchmen defeated the Britons in the nightcap, 78-63. Hope’s teams are back in action against arch-rival Calvin on Saturday, with the Flying Dutch in Grand Rapids at 2:30 PM on 99 7/1450 WHTC, and the Flying Dutchmen hosting the Knights at DeVos Fieldhouse at 6:30 PM on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van.
Grand Valley State’s basketball teams entertain the Purdue Northwest Pride in a doubleheader at the Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale this evening.
In state major-college basketball tonight, Detroit is at Milwaukee and Oakland is at Green Bay.
